The Use of Statistical Methods for Data Processing

Diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the financial health of microenterprise using statistical methods, specifically time series. The selected size of the enterprise is related to important asset, since this type of analysis is not usually automated. In theoretical part, thesis will discuss each monitored indicator that forms the basis for statistical analysis, which is also described in the theoretical level. The practical part will focus on specific statements obtained, their financial and statistical analysis, and then creating a program in the language of Excel VBA to automate these activities.

Performance Evaluation of Company Stavivo IBV Using the Benchmarking Method

This bachelor’s thesis focus is set on performance evaluation of company Stavivo IBV s.r.o. in years 2018 until 2020, using the method of benchmarking. The first part focuses on theoretical resources needed for thesis, specifically it is basic terms and selected indicators. The second part’s intent is on introducing the main company and secondary companies, as well as elaboration of financial analysis, its indicators and comparing them using the benchmarking method. The last part focuses on my personal proposals to improve the main’s company standing on its market segment.

This master thesis focuses on application of statistical methods in the processing of data. The first part of the thesis describes the theoretical foundations that are the basis for the practical part. Next part of this thesis describes the statistical and financial analysis and also design of an application that automate usage of statistical methods of regression analysis to predict the future economic situation development of the company. This thesis contains theory of time series methods and regression analysis.

Bachelor's thesis is focused on evaluation of financial health business house by help of chosen characteristic sign of financial analyse. I have decided to write about an agricultural farm named Valča. I have derived needed data from assets date 2012 - 2017. First part of my work includes a theoretical knowledge of observed area. The second part includes the characteristic of the company, calculations of indexes, assessment of the financial situation of the company. The final part includes a proposal with intend to improve the financial health of the company.
